New Playground

The Lion's Pride - New Playground at Linden

The New Playground at Linden has been installed!! Funded by a generous donation from the Linden Avenue HSA, a substantial grant procured by our District Business Administrator Barbara Murphy, and district funds, we were able to install three fabulous looking structures for our Little Lions! A new border and over 270 yards of safety surfacing completed the project!

The older playground pieces were removed and replaced with three age appropriate play structures for all Linden students Pre-K - Grade 2! A smaller Pre-K structure is perfect for our youngest children where up to 39 users can use 12 Play Events. Our largest piece can accommodate 75 users on 13 Play Events, while the climbing structure maxes out at 25 students and takes our playground to the next level!

Special thanks to Bob Gomes, Director of Buildings & Grounds, for planning, coordinating, and seeing the playground installation to completion! Bob was able to incorporate a brand new railroad tie border into the project, and he procured a brand new double-sided bench at no cost! Huge thanks to the HSA Playground Committee (Danielle Lau, Rachel Bryan, Arianna Estrella, and Christ Gates) who worked with us to choose the play structures, design the layout, and most importantly choose the really cool color palette!!

We can’t wait to see the children using it!
